Mullocky Creek Lodge

Mullocky Creek is a private ski lodge located in the village of Dinner Plain in the Australian Southern Alps, approximately 10km from Australia’s premier ski resort, Mt Hotham.

History

Mullocky Creek was founded in May 1989 by a small group of ski enthusiasts who were tired of paying inflated prices for accommodation. Mullocky Creek Ski Lodge was formed with a group of co-owners and it continues to be an owner-only lodge today. Since then, hundreds of people have enjoyed the benefits of our private little ski lodge.

Mullocky Creek is comprised of 34 single memberships (or 17 family/double memberships) which were created by way of a Unit Trust.

Location

Mullocky Creek is located in Drybone Lane, only 100m from the top of the Dinner Plain ski run and the cross country ski trails. The lodge backs onto a reserve, offering lovely views across the snow gums. The lodge is just 150m from Hotel High Plains, is close to other Dinner Plain facilities, and just 200m to the bus stop for buses up to Mt Hotham.

Mullocky Creek has 4 bedrooms (14 beds in total)

• • Room 1 (beds 1-4): closest to the front door – queen bed (that folds up to 2 single bunk beds) + 1 set of single bunks – sleeps 4
  • Room 2 (beds 5-8): closest to the downstairs bathroom – queen bed (that folds up to 2 single bunk beds) + 1 set of single bunks – sleeps 4
  • Room 3 (beds 8-9): lower level next to lower lounge room – queen bed (that folds up to 2 single bunk beds) – sleeps 2
  • Room 4 (beds 10-14): lower level – 2 sets of single bunks – sleeps 4
  • All bedrooms utilise the communal bathrooms (1 on the ground floor & 1 on the upper floor)
